The book Enrique's Journey was about a boy named Enrique and his journey to come to The USA all the way from Mexico. The journey he had was super hard. Not only his journey was hard but also all the immigrants that travel to here the USA. They have to suffer through cold nights and excruciating hot days. Also they have to be careful for immigration officers, rapist, and people that could possibly jump them. Enrique's journey wasn't all that easy. From his mother leaving him at a young age with his grandmother Enrique dedicated his journey to see hi mother again.
This story connects to my family because my family had to pass almost most of the thing Enrique had to pass. Also this connects to the world because there are so many people that are passing through all the struggles to come here to the US for a better life. This connects more to my mom because she had to come here with me in her belly and that was very hard. For every immigrant that is coming here for a better life they will understands all the struggles.
I would recommend this book to my mom. To the immigrants. Also surprisingly to our president Donald J. Trump. I would recommend this book to my mom because she understand the struggles of an immigrant, being one herself. I would recommend this book to the immigrants because this books will give the hope in a better future. Last but not least our president Trump. I would recommend this book to him because he should know that the journey is not all rainbows and sunshine. It's hard and he should know that if deports the immigrants back its sure going to hurt them. Leaving all there sacrifices.
